Motorcycle camping breaks are based on a 2 nights stay, though you're more
than welcome to stay as long as you like!
Friday is arrival day, your equipment will be set up ready so you can arrive any
time during the day if you wish. Friday night is meet and greet. We'll do the
intro's get a feel for each other and discuss the weekend ahead.
We would like you to take note of the following,
Pace and Experience : - Some routes we take are unsuitable for absolute
beginners and Welsh roads can bite back. Please take note that we do not condone
excessive speed, if you want a race experience please book a track day and not a
weekend with us. Road sense and motorcycling skills will be tested, you will
be briefed beforehand on the route and what to expect.. We can cater for inexperienced riders but please let us know beforehand so that we can recommend a suitable route. Whichever route we take you can expect the same experience taking in the countryside with some of the best views in Europe. We can detail a route which can have many combinations with the same destination, taking into consideration the needs of the group.
You decide the aspects on what you want to see or do, tell us your requirements be it general scenery, Castles, coast or mountains - touring wales with motorcycle camping breaks can provide a tour to suit every taste.
Riding Gear : - We regard safety as paramount, please ensure you have leathers or
suitable protection for our peace of mind. Jeans and trainers won't do
sorry (personal scar from my younger days tought me a lesson)
Waterproofs are a good idea just in case.
Your bike: - Please ensure your bike is in a safe and roadworthy condition,
obviously insured, taxed and tested.
Please don't think we are too demanding, we have a duty of care to you and ourselves.
From the start of a motorcycle camping tour you will be made to feel welcome and before each ride you will have an informal briefing on the route and what you can expect from the roads we will be riding together. Our routes include a mix of smooth flowing bends and also some very demanding tight corners. You won't be on boring straights for hours on end. You will also ride through some of the most stunning scenery in the UK, we will take some roads not well known but you will see why when you ride them. At Motorcycle camping breaks we will give you plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the scenery, refuel or grab a coffee.
Saturday evening is a chance to have a chat about the day over a beer or two, weather permitting have a bar-b-q or take in a pub meal or simply relax after a day in the saddle.
On the second ride we will head up to the coast, either Aberystwyth or Barmouth, again this will be a mix of good roads, good riding and good scenery. A chance for Sunday lunch if you wish before we head back for your departure. Hopefully you will be keen to visit us again for a chance to take in a different motorcycle touring experience.
